Problems everywhere at once — and not one concrete step
The story
In his own words — “a complete tangle”: it felt as if problems were appearing in several places at once. And the worst part of that state is not the number of problems but that you cannot take a single concrete step out of it. Every action looks like the wrong one to start with.
From the outside this looks like poor organisation, so people reach for planners and lists. Lists don’t help when what’s in the way isn’t a missing plan but a state in which any plan falls apart.
What we did
We laid it out piece by piece — looking not for separate problems but for the thing holding all of them. The root turned out to be single: a belief formed in childhood and settled in adolescence. While it runs, problems keep surfacing in different places, because their source isn’t in those places.
The same principle as in case 10 and case 07: the symptom and its cause sit in different spots, and working through a list of symptoms leads nowhere.
